  Introduction: Goals

Bone Builders focuses on the food, activity and lifestyle choices Girl Scouts can make to improve their bone health. Girl Scouts will:

  • Understand the importance of having healthy bones.

    and be able to:

  • Identify food, activity and lifestyle choices that influence bone health.
  • Identify calcium-containing foods.
  • Identify physical activities which help to maximize bone mass.
  • Plan and eat a balanced diet.
  • Identify developmental issues that may influence bone health (such as body image and eating disorders).
